“Smile, my boy.
It’s sunrise.”

-a story of love, grief, and hope-

Have you ever wanted to go to a place where you could escape life and process what comes next?

You will now.

House of Frank has been picked up by Ezeekat Press! An imprint under Bindery Books, and it will be released into the world Fall 2024!

Meet Saika.

After spending two years distracting herself from her sister’s death, defunct witch Saika finally enacts her sister’s dying request – to bury her ashes at the famed Ash Gardens, a magical arboretum sanctuary. When she meets the owner, a terribly kind mythical beast named Frank, she learns that Ash Gardens is seeking another witch to help care for the estate and help with ceremonies for the bereaved. Not yet ready to say goodbye to her sister, Saika sees this as the perfect distraction from her grief.

The more time she spends working and delaying her promise to her sister, Saika learns more about Frank and the decaying house at Ash Gardens. She uses her knowledge of spells and fallen stars to keep the house running. All the while, Saika is invited into the lives of the motley staff at Ash Gardens, including a seasoned Architect witch, bickering twin cherubs, a sweet light fairy, a mute ghost, a cantankerous elf, and an irritating half-witch who takes immense pleasure in teasing her. And as Saika desperately tries to avoid her pain, she rediscovers what it means to love and be loved again.
